Capability

Service & Maintenance

Ongoing electrical service for the facilities we build and others. Preventive maintenance, infrared thermography, power quality analysis, and emergency response.

Service that protects the asset

Electrical equipment doesn’t fail at random. Most failures are preceded by months of degradation that’s visible to anyone looking: rising thermal signatures on a breaker, harmonics increasing on a panel, partial discharge developing in MV gear. A serious service program catches those signals before they turn into outages. A reactive service relationship doesn’t.

Our service work covers preventive maintenance programs, predictive diagnostics, and emergency response for commercial and industrial facilities. We service the buildings we’ve built and others — the work doesn’t require that we did the original construction.

Scope of work

Preventive

Preventive maintenance programs

Scheduled inspections, cleaning, tightening, and testing of switchgear, transformers, panelboards, and motor control centers. NETA MTS testing intervals based on equipment criticality. Maintenance reports and asset condition tracking.

Thermography

Infrared inspection

Infrared thermography on switchgear, panelboards, MCCs, and distribution equipment per NFPA 70B and ANSI/NETA MTS recommendations. Annual or semi-annual surveys with thermal imaging reports identifying hot spots and degrading connections.

Power quality

Power quality analysis

Power quality monitoring for facilities experiencing nuisance trips, sensitive equipment failures, or unexplained downtime. Harmonic analysis, voltage sag/swell detection, and ground-fault monitoring. Recommendations for mitigation when issues are identified.

MV testing

MV equipment testing

NETA MTS acceptance and maintenance testing on MV switchgear, transformers, and cable. Insulation resistance, contact resistance, power factor testing, and VLF hipot. Relay testing and protective device coordination verification.

Emergency

Emergency response

Emergency electrical response for service interruptions, equipment failures, and storm damage. Available to facilities under our service agreements with response time commitments tied to facility criticality.

Capital

Capital electrical retrofits

Service entrance upgrades, panel replacements, switchgear retrofits, and arc-flash mitigation in occupied facilities. Phased work plans, temporary power coordination, and disruption-minimizing schedules.
